MALAWI EARLIER MIDDLE STONE AGE PROJECT
African Heritage is a local partner to the
University of Queensland, Brisbane in the Malawi Earlier Middle Stone Age
Project (MEMSAP). Other
partners include the Malawi Department of Antiquities, University of Arizona,
Arizona State University, Seoul National University, Australian National
University. Programme Director is Dr. Jessica Thompson, School of Social
Sciences, Archaeology Programme, UQ. African Heritage is responsible for local
logistics and field work training and supervision.
MEMSAP hosts an
official UQ archaeological field
school which is open to interested students of any university.
